Nascut a Arbeca (Lleida), inicià els seus estudis musicals amb Manel Gras i Anton Bru. Entrà a formar part de l’Escolania de Montserrat, on inicià els estudis de piano i de violí. Posteriorment continuà els seus estudis a l’escola de música de Tàrrega i al Conservatori Municipal de Lleida.
Ha estudiat cant amb Jordi Boltes i Quim Proubasta.
Ha col·laborat amb diverses agrupacions corals, de les que destaca la Coral Antics Escolans de Montserrat, la Capella de Música de Montserrat i el Cor Madrigal.
Des del 2004 fins el 2010, ha interpretat el paper d’Evangelista en el Concert-pregària participatiu de la Passió segons Sant Joan (J.S.Bach), que organitza cada any la Coral Canticela, a la Sagrada Família de Barcelona.
És component del grup a cappella The Minstrels des del seu inici.

Pianista, organista, arranjador i compositor. Forma part de The BlackBirds des del 2002. Format musicalment a l’ancestral i prestigiosa Escolania de Montserrat, és membre del Cor d’Antics Escolans i de la Capella Monserratina. Ha cantat al quartet vocal Enjòlit, al Cor de Cambra del Palau de la Música Catalana i a la Capella de Música de Santa Maria del Mar.
Combina la seva dedicació a la docència musical, en diferents escoles de música de Catalunya, amb la direcció de formacions corals, per les quals ha composat i arranjat nombroses cançons i les Cantates “Vent de foc, terra de pluja” i “Notes de Colors”. És el creador, junt amb Jordi Vallespí, de l’espectacle “Wimoweh”, participant en la seva gravació en CD i en la pràctica totalitat de les funcions, durant més de 10 anys, a L’Auditori de Barcelona.

Membre fundador de The BlackBirds. Ha estudiat solfeig, harmonia i piano al Conservatori del Liceu de Barcelona, a l’estudi de música d’Àngel Soler i al Taller de Músics de Barcelona. Des del 1997 perfecciona la seva formació vocal amb el contratenor Xavier Torra. Ha format part de la Coral Arquitectura de la Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya i del Gran Cor del Taller de Músics de Barcelona. Ha col.laborat amb el Cor d’Antics Escolans de Montserrat.
Ha estrenat com a baríton solista: l’òpera “Sort” (composada i dirigida per Daniel Antolí i Plaza) on ha interpretat el paper del “Príncep de la terra”; i la “Missa Defunctorum” de J.Sancho Marraco, amb la Camerata Impromptu i l’Orquestra de Cambra “I Dilettanti” (Auditori CaixaForum de Barcelona i Auditori Barradas de L’Hospitalet de Llobregat).

Forma part de The BlackBirds des del 1995. Format a l’Escolania de Montserrat, amplia els seus estudis musicals al Conservatori Municipal de Bcn (violí i piano). Premi d’honor en Grau Professional de Cant amb el mestre Xavier Torra. Graduat amb el Diploma Avançat (cant i direcció) a la Welsh College of Music and Drama (Cardiff), sota la tutela del tenor John Mitchinson. Ha gravat “La Música Sacra” (Escolania de Montserrat), “Wimoweh” (L’Auditori de Bcn) i 3CD’s amb les orquestres La Portàtil FM i Genuïna. Ha interpretat com a solista: “Il Tabarro”, “L’Elisir d’Amore”, “Rigoletto”, el “Rèquiem” de Mozart i el de Fauré, el “Magnificat” i “l’Oratori de Nadal” de J.S.Bach.
Ha col.laborat amb la Capella Reial de Catalunya dirigida per Jordi Savall, amb Carles Santos (“La Pantera Imperial”), La Fura dels Baus (“Don Quixot”), Comediants (“La Flauta Màgica) i amb el Cor del Gran Teatre del Liceu (“Parsifal”, “Billy Budd”, “Aida”, “Tosca”, “Enrique VIII”, “Ana Bolena”, “Peter Grimes”…). Ha dirigit tallers de gospel i formacions corals a tot Catalunya, essent durant 15 anys Director del Cor d’Antics Escolans de Montserrat.
